I hope they bring Apple News to Windows. I know the general consensus on Reddit is that Apple News sucks but I like News+ a lot (could be better obvs) and use it daily on my iPhone and iPad. Would be nice to use it on my Windows laptop too.

I mean if it does exactly what it needs to and nothing more, then sure - why not?

Occasionally I try to backup my phone to my desktop instead of relying on the numerous cloud options that covers most of my needs and it’s never a smooth process.

Finding it because the shortcut is broken, updating, doing multiple restarts, then trying to backup the device - it’s frustrating.

Has there? I may be wrong then. I used to use iTunes but when I found the online version I just stream from there these days.

I think there is also an Apple Music app in the MS Store that’s been out for a bit

I doubt they will be bringing out a new iTunes. Seems Apple are investing in web based streaming like Amazon and Spotify now that music.apple.com is a thing.

Is there a chance someone has spoofed her SIM card and is intercepting information. It’s unlikely that the data is being leaked from the iPhone side.

There was a suspicious looking pay "ad-blocker" app that I removed; otherwise no extensions on any of the browsers as far as I can tell.

Great questions. Pretty sure she had it in the Apple Pay for whatever reason. Yes to wallet, I think. No to autofill and Paypal. Yes to online shopping. But suspicious charges have shown up with a new card on like, the second day when she's only been grocery shopping. It's flippin' weird.

The other concern is her online banking. We have changed her bank account password and I basically told her she's not allowed to look at her account on these devices until I get them wiped.

Yeah good questions- likely hood of phone etc being hacked so much lower than a phishing attack

Have you checked the browser on computer for a keyboard sniffer?

Where is your mother entering in her credit card details?

Adding the card to wallet? Saving the card details to safari auto fill? PayPal? Just using the card on an online store?
