IPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. Never use the charging port. Have a wireless magsafe charging stand at home and in the car wireless charger air vent holder.

I think IPhone 16 will be wireless only, especially due to the EU ruling that in 2024 Apple iPhone must be USB C. They'll get round that by simply making them portless.

I did a poll on this exact topic in this sub the other day: https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/109j2rv/how_do_you_most_often_charge_your_iphone/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Conclusion: Yes, people do continue to use the charging port — more so than not.

Wireless charging has taken a chunk of users, though. MagSafe seems to be the primary wireless charging option for iPhone users in this sub — which is a decent first ‘win’ for MagSafe in iPhones. Still a ways to go to catch the traditional lightning cable, though.

You’re dumb because you somehow expect Apple to give you cloud storage equivalent to the storage already on your phone without expecting reimbursement.

Do you also complain that your computer’s cloud storage of choice (if you use it) isn’t giving you free space equivalent to your computer’s hard drive?

Good grief.

I don’t keep track of it it’s just another thing to occupy your mind. Just charge when below 30 and unplug above 80. The always on display only gonna drain 1% battery per hour ( similar battery drain amount on android) if you want to save more just turn on battery saving mode, turn off always on display, turn on airplane mode, turn brightness to minimum, deny every optional privacy settings, turn location services off and turn off background activity

That’s not normal. My 12 Pro Max might lose a % overnight, it sips nothing at all. Always been like this as far back as I can remember with all of my iPhones, iOS has always been legendary for its standby time.

Last time they actually tested standby time (iPhone 7 Plus), they claim 15 days of it. Have to assume it’s at least that if not significantly greater with the advances of battery size and their SoCs in the 7 years since that phone’s release
