It wasn’t fully charged at 5am, I can see the power still increasing even in the 6-7am period

I circled where it died above.

The phone should be in standby - On, but in this rare case following a shutdown, not recording batt graph info. It will force you to manually enter a password… and that’s the point the battery graph will start recording again.

So it will restart the phone, coz how would I get onto my phone if it was shut down, or do you mean restart the graph?

Ah okay so when you go on it the graph restarts?

I think it was probs on 10-30% because it still said notifications were at that time period on my screen time settings and I definitely plugged it at 1 coz otherwise how would it be charged when I woke up if I had plugged it in at 12 and it died at 12:43 as shown on graph?

Yes the green lines and faint green sections above them indicate plug-in periods. Only you doing something on the phone will restart it. If you left it alone till 11am then your graph would look like mine shutdown ~1am; no info 1-11am, then 100% when restarted at 11am.

If you restarted at 3am it might not even turn on (may still be zero batt), or might have been 10-30% and charging - IDK when it decided to start charging.

Ah right weird how it was fully charged at 5 am,

So does my graph show to u when my phone died?

What’s a batt graph, ah so it restarts when u first go on it, is that the graph that restarts or the actual phone. So if i were to wake up and go on my phone whilst it’s on shut down would it just say it’s dead.

Yes mine shutdown while using

Technically you took the screenshot at 8:23 and the ‘last charged to 100%’ says ‘1hr ago’ so fully charged ~7:23, not 6am.

It should have been charging starting at 12am while you were FaceTiming, so who knows when it decided to start charging while it was shutdown 3,4,5 am?. Early version iOS gremlins, IDK. (Graph say plug-in at 12 not 1, IDK why the discrepancy, no offense, but I trust the graph more for that info).

Blue bar only shows when I started using it, ie that’s first point of restart and when the batt graphs started recording again, as I said “probably fully charged by ~4-5am” which means I’m guessing because the batt graphs don’t record info between shutdown and restart.

Oh right so it shut down when u were using it?

Thing is with mine it doesn’t say it was fully charged til like 6 am, if I plugged in at 1am why’s it took so long to charge, and at 5am even if it did start charging then, it doesn’t gradually build up it goes up quite immediately in the yellow

How does the blue sot bar indicate it’s fully charged?

I love my 14PM and the 11's are great phones, you're going to have to wait until most likely September or October for the 15 series to launch. If you need a phone now get it and if you don't then don't. iPhones have come a very long way and a phone released in 2022 from 2020 isn't going to be a huge upgrade worth the money imo. I'm speaking with a forked tongue here but that's my thought.

As much as I wanted to hang onto my 11 Pro Max, ordered a 14 Pro Max on Saturday, it arrives Wednesday.

Battery was degraded, I had to weight replacing it or getting a new device. I chose the new device.

11 Pro Max was and still is a beast, far and away one of of not the best phone I’ve ever owned.
