Had mine for 6 months and it wearing quickly, it’s not as noticeable as other colours but the green colour wears of and the sides are now black

So no one is having this issue but you got yours brand new and babied it and then magically you and all your friends have this major hardware failure from downloading the most recent update that no one else seems to be having? T-roll

Auto brightness off, the 13 pro was not as good for action shots and low light. There’s a yellow / grainy tinge with the 13 pro display and it’s quite remarkable.

I will be giving up my Mini when Apple releases a new one, when it dies/can't run apps I need anymore, or... maybe if something really mind-blowing comes along that I want enough to tolerate toting a brick around.

Ok that's an exaggeration but really, I love my Mini, it's the perfect size for me. If you like a smaller phone, it's a wonderful one.

There is something wrong with them as I never find myself doing that. From my experience it tries to eliminate the need for smaller tablets, which it more or less does.

As for the rest. I have relatively small hands and despite the phone being larger and heavier I found it much easier with one hand despite the screen being narrower, that's about it.

As for the "what problem is it solving" part, I can share my experience and that is:

• multitasking - having two reasonably sized windows next to each other is actually quite useful, if you try to troubleshoot some issue at work remotely or taking notes from a website.
• better media consumption on a larger screen, but it's debatable because of the square-ish aspect ratio.
• in-phone photo/video editing is easier and less clunky as there is more space for the elements (e.g. in LumaVision/LightRoom).
• taking notes, sketching with the Pen again easier as there is more room to draw, but I find the crease too distracting.

I also agree with others saying that currently is just a proof of concept, despite the whole phone came a long way from Gen1 to current Gen4.

I’ve got a green one too - has been on my 14 PM since I got it at launch. It’s wearing/patina-ing, but it’s still in good shape. I haven’t experienced the quality issues others have, it seems.

I mean it’s likely some sort of physical damage must have happened. It’s not like you got the single different version of the software update that bricked it. And if it was working before it doesn’t sound like a hardware issue

Folding phone’s are supposed to bridge the gap between phones and tablets, IMO. What the Samsung is doing with the other phone I don’t kno, it just looks like a gimmick.
