I've been an Android user forever. Also have iPhone 13 pro for work. I want to love iPhones but there are a few things that just kill me. The alarm feature you mentioned is one. Also, no good number pad. I HATE using the number row. It's a pain in the ass. There are a few other things that are escaping me right now. I love the buttery smooth display scrolling on my iPhone though. I'm considering getting one to replace my pixel 5 but I just can't pull the trigger. Oh also the 13 pro is so fucking heavy compared to my pixel 5. I love my pixel but I have a free $500 towards an apple product...

Unless most/some of the features are worth it, you probably shouldn’t upgrade, both of them are pretty stable so it’s a case of if you want your live wallpapers or not

If I was your mother and read this, I'd immediately take the phone away and not let you have it.

Reasons for this would be:

1. Disrespectful towards your parents, while your dad wanted to buy the iPhone but your mother did for you, she granted his wish for you.
2. I don't think she sees the iPhone as a "prize" but rather a gift for graduating. So be grateful for it.

I don’t know why but when I pull the phone out of my pocket from time to time instead of showing the normal always on display with the clock , it’s showing the search screen and I have to unlock and re lock it a couple of times in order to behave correctly. I’ve also noticed if I have the control center open and lock the screen some times the always on display will be stuck on displaying action center ! Maybe I need to restore the factory settings….

I have just found an Iphone XS 256gb sim free in Japan. It is around 182 USD + 15.5 USD (change battery). I currently have an Iphone SE 2020 128 gb. I'm not too fond of it, the charge does not hold well, I have to carry a power bank everywhere and 128gb is not enough for me sometimes. I know XS will be supported for longer time. But I would like to sell it around 165-170 dollars and buy an XS. Do you think it would be a relevant decision based on today's market?
