I actually like the notch visually, though I appreciate what they did with the dynamic island in terms of functionality.

Seconding this.

What makes you think the predecessor would be a better model than the current pro max, OP? It’s not. It is however a perfectly good phone.

My opinion is, if money isn’t an issue, go for the 14 Pro Max. Get what you need and want now, there’s always going to be a newer model around the corner. In this case, the 15 isn’t even around the corner yet. Not even if you manage to snag one in release (and those things are going to be in short supply for several months after release, too, so factor that in.)

Current owner of Iphone 14 PM the rumors about bugs , camera problems , notifications delays no sound , screen lines are real My roommate has the 13 PM no problems and many Iphone 13 PM owners are saying they will not upgrade to Iphone 14 PM because the minor updates and software issues and they are going to wait for the 15 I was a android user for years and the first Iphone I purchased was the Iphone 14 PM because 13 PM and 14 PM are the same price why not get the newest right So hopefully they fix all the software issues

I may not explain this well.

iCloud Photos is what you describe - automatically. if your phone has storage the photo will be present there and also uploaded to the cloud.

if you have multiple devices you can see all your photos no matter what device and download as needed.

you just need to pay for the storage.

it will put all your photos in iCloud so you may need to do some maintenance. for example I take pics while shopping to see if my kids want something, but those are not keepers so I need to clean those off

We Apple customers are very finicky when it comes to change but I have always excepted and enjoyed the way the iPhone has matured and looking forward to what’s next
