Refresh rate is not the only thing for smoothness. All androids are janky outside the OS like twitter. Insta. Any app really. The scrolling is always a little more janky. Animations are another factor. All these are smoother on iOS. So when you do animations and scrolling for basically 99% of your time in a phone. You notice it. At least. I know I do. Every time I go back to an iPhones after some days using android it feels like you’re going from 60hz to 120hz

About €470 brand new (128GB). Thank you for the tips, I might try doing that. I updated it to iOS 16.3 without thinking much about it. I think the OS version was 15.7 prior to the update.

I recently thought my 12 mini had taken a dump and I’d decided a 12 mini was the way to go again, but for the life of me, I can’t recall my decision process. Making a comment mainly to remind me to see the results. /selfish

I did the opposite. Switched from iPhone to Android and I absolutely love it. I now see why all my IT friends own Androids. Ringtones, MP3's, just about everything is open and downloadable directly where as with iPhone, you have restrictions because of Apple Music and usually have to use Garage Band as a weird workaround. I've been with iPhones for a long time and I can tell you, they're a pain in the ass.

What do you mean by moved off. If you mean deleted then deleting it on the iPhone or computer deletes it from both of those and iCloud. Ie iCloud is a syncing service. It keeps all three in sync. You can use an option to limit how much space it takes on your phone and computer in which case it will keep full copies on iCloud and previews in your phone and computer. Or you tell it to also store full copies on your computer.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like anyone would give us a helpful answer, except just stating the specs. For me I've never really noticed the difference in battery life since I'm used to just charging whenever needed, and I'm not in your region but in my region I can still get 13 pro new or like new.

For me, I kinda decided I'd try them in the store to see which one I'd enjoy using, and I really like the feel of the 14 pro since it's a bit different from the 13, while the 13 feels like my old iphone 4 that I used many years ago. But I don't really like the frosted glass on the pro model sooo I'm still hesitating on the upgrade, probably will need to wait for the 15 xD
