It literally does what you want it to do here, work as an iPod. Even has 16-32GB of storage to keep music offline.

Have an 8 which is the same sort of size as that SE, and to be honest it’s still too big to keep in your pocket especially if you’re running. I end up holding mine in my hand if I’m using Strava.

The first gen SE that came before that though was a gem.

I had a watch and just sold it cause besides tracking my fitness goals, I was literally leaving it home during the day. I do get the benefits of having an apple watch (my fiancee loves hers), but for me this was more about leaving the big one behind when I’m in the gym. With apple ID, my messages and calls are recorded on either device anyways 🤷🏻‍♂️

No. I’m just bringing up something I did to the community of iPhone users. Didn’t know there was anything wrong with that 😂 just decided to do it in a dumb tone since I know its a dumb idea.

I’d rather just have an Apple Watch do those jobs and leave the phone behind or get a smaller phone that is both big enough when it needs to be and small enough that it isn’t “like a tablet” in my pocket. The 6.1” 14 Pro is the right size for me as I can use it one handed. I don’t have time to manage having 2 phones, trying to remember what information is on what phone. It seems foolish as once again an Apple Watch can do all of that.

Apple Watch can do the same thing as the SE, there are different solutions to problems.

They updated it so that the font would be colored (if you chose it to be) when you’re just on the lockscreen and match whatever color gradient the album art produces on the music mode since that seemed to a be huge request, especially if you had a color that was unreadable on anything other than your wallpaper.

In short you can’t get colored font with music

press and release Volume - & + and hold power button for a while, then force shutdown option will be popped up, shutdown your device and restart, then try again for updating it. Hope this will fix it💯

I’d try turning off the wifi off the phone, shutting off the phone, counting to thirty and trying again..

Normally, I wouldn’t want to interrupt the update process but if it’s been stuck like that for an hour, I’d give that a try…
