I have the one from Baseus. It's 10.000 mAh, can charge via USB-C connector (yep the connector works both ways) or through MagSafe. It holds on really good on my 14 Pro and can charge it about two times from around 10% to 100%.

I got is as a present and love it, since I don't use my phone that often when charging, but it's nice to be able to move it around when charging. The only downside (if I cared that much) would be the thickness of the power bank, which is about two iPhone 14 Pros. But again, I don't use the phone while charging, so ... meh, it's good. :)

edit: I see that you mentioned the one with the kickstand. I don't have that, because I don't need it.

I have an iPhone because I rely on iMessage. But I prefer Android. If it wasn’t for iMessage I’d switch back to Android in a heartbeat. I’ve tried Airmessage/Bluebubbles and I can’t get it to work reliably enough for my use case. So here I am.

As a former rabid apple hater long ago converted to the cult (and I use that tongue in cheek) by the fateful gifting of an iPod oh so many years ago, my first “smart” phone was android but quickly got replaced thereafter by, oh, I don’t recall exactly, iPhone 3? 4? Anyway, I can’t count the number of Apple products I own, have owned and probably will continue to own. My point in saying all this is that I recently picked up a new-ish android because there is 1 particular app I wanted to run that is only available on android. I can’t tell you what model it is, it is a Samsung, maybe 3 years old at this point and I hate almost everything about it. I find it confusing, and unintuitive and s-l-o-w. (And frankly iOS isn’t what it once was, I think they have lost their way as well) but all of that is to say, if you find that android meets your needs, and it is what you are used to, and you like it, then use it. I would argue there are many excellent things about android and there are many excellent things about iOS. Both also have their fair share of problems too, but, the one that works for you, and meets your needs, and gives you joy is the one you should choose without guilt, without remorse, and in spite of what anyone else tries to tell you. Best phone is phone that works for your use case. That’s my take.

I think most people who are ride or die for the iPhone are deep in the ecosystem of products that are designed to work well with the iPhone. My watch, PC, tablet, smart home speakers, streaming device, and wireless headphones are all apple products.

It’s definitely about the ecosystem and not being particularly interested in android’s unique features for me.

Reply to Phone Cases by [deleted]

I keep buying cases too because I'm in pursuit of the perfect case (that probably doesn't even exist.) I end up returning a fair amount of them because they don't feel like how they're described in websites. Weird thing is I used to hate cases & now it's like I'm addicted to shopping for them to find the perfect one or perfect rotation.

I have a rigid routine where I rotate cases daily in a set order. That way I use every case the same & there's no, - well today I feel like using this case. I come home from work & change the case & phones wallpaper, & change my clothes to shift gears mentally. Yes I'm weird.
