I don’t think whoever owns the satellite network is ready for Apple to do to them the same thing they did to AT&T’s 3G network

You’ll likely regret it. If you’re used to the customization Android provides, you’re in for a rude awakening on iOS. You still can’t move your icons where you want on iOS 16 in 2023.
Don’t get me wrong, iOS is solid and it works. It’s more stable than Android in my opinion. It works but you’re going to use it exactly how Apple says you’re going to use it.

I could not agree more! Many times the only way to know is to take it apart and look at the marking on the battery cells. However you also need to look at the wiring of the battery cells. For example that apple battery pack actually uses 3.7v battery cells, but has two is series for the total 7.4v. Other brands, like Anker use one larger cell or several 3.7 cells in parallel. Knowing the number of cells, their configuration and their individual rating is all needed to truly understand the battery bank’s raw capacity.
However, raw capacity doesn’t mean much. It’s the net capacity the battery bank can output. Some brands use more efficient circuity than others. Therefore it is entirely possible a lower [raw] rated battery bank can outperform one with more raw battery capacity.
Thank goodness for YouTube channels that take everything apart and do rigorous testing.
Wish manufacturers listed raw wh rating and charging efficiency, but we are stuck with less meaningful, but bigger, more impressive sounding numbers.

You’re probably right. Don’t know which iOS 16 version It is but the iPhone now stops charging when it gets too hot so maybe check your battery stats to see if that was the case

That’s not how this works. The phone tells the charger when to stop charging not the cable

I’m sure the question has been asked a thousand times, I couldn’t find an answer :( Is there a USB-A to magnet charger for iPhone 13? I have the C plug chargers in the house but only have an A or cigarette outlet in my truck. 2015 F150 if that matters. Just wondering what people do?

I think the 13 mini is pretty much all they could do with tech at the moment… they can’t improve the battery, or the camera really and what else is left?
There simply isn’t any spare room inside the mini chassis. I think they should have just called it mini without a number, so it could have not appeared dated for those who want the latest iPhone.
They still sell the 13 mini, so people still have the option…

USB-C is the only thing that may well pry my mini out of my hands. I sure would like if they made a 15 mini though.

I'm using the Anker 622 for my iPhone 13. It's fantastic for my purposes - I use it plugged in for overnight charging, and take it with me if I'm traveling. Sometimes I'll just slap it on mid-day if my phone is draining more than usual.

Woah that's cool stuff. I have an app on my phone that tells my current charging stats so I'll let my phone drop down to 5% or so today and see how many watts it's pulling.
At lower battery it really is fast I can leave it on for 5-10 minutes and be back upto 50% after that it starts to charge a bit slower.
BTW I've never owned an iPhone but I like to stay educated... How long do the latest iPhones take to charge? 10W sounds like nothing but I also believe iPhones have significantly smaller batteries/better optimization than Androids.
