Unconfirmed, but the differences would only be the battery and screen sizes

The chances of this chip breaking is as low as the SoC itself breaking

Their code is all closed-source, so it's not confirmed if they're really spying on you or not. You're just trusting their marketing.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but don't all iPhone's currently have "always-on micro-processors" to detect things like power button presses, lightning port connections, and find my iPhone?

Today’s been awesome, even better than with 16.3.1. We’ll see how it goes

The same goes for any chip on the phone. Silicon reliability is much higher than button reliability though.

Then so far I’m only seeing downgrading to 16.3.1 as a solution. Or maybe a backup and restore. It’s definitely not normal behavior.

How are capacitive buttons going to work with cases? Just a bunch of holes? Hate it. Fixing a problem that doesn’t exist.

Okay that's unusual and frustrating.
Which iPhone do you have and which firmware are you on?

I guess both, maybe 2 from each? Generally If ur going for UI Apple wins and if ur going for specific features than google wins by a landslide, although again I prefer Apple

4 features? That’s a pretty open question. Hardware or software? Or a combo?

> Yeah don’t know why you’re being downvoted.
I can understand it. For a long time people have believed Apple cares about their privacy, at least based on their marketing material, and suddenly hearing that's not actually true... Is kinda shitty.
I too would've been pissed if I bought something based on the promise of privacy and later on to realize that's actually a lie.

Can’t disable it but I’d compare the two. Apple is the most popular globally by far. While this feature isn’t as desired perhaps other features you don’t notice are better than android.
That being said, for people familiar with programming or logic, android is the clear winner. I have some experience, yet still use an Apple phone. Idk it’s up to you. What 4 features do you value most?

This is why I jumped from Android to IPhone felt I had to get a new phone every year because things slowed down.
I’d at the minimum get the 12 because it has 5G and the 11 does not.
Good thing about Apple is they require all apps to be optimized on phones they provide security support for. So everything will run smooth as butter even as it ages.

Nothing is confirmed as apple never confirms anything until their keynote presentations.
