I can understand it. For a long time people have believed Apple cares about their privacy, at least based on their marketing material, and suddenly hearing that's not actually true... Is kinda shitty.

I too would've been pissed if I bought something based on the promise of privacy and later on to realize that's actually a lie.

Can’t disable it but I’d compare the two. Apple is the most popular globally by far. While this feature isn’t as desired perhaps other features you don’t notice are better than android.

That being said, for people familiar with programming or logic, android is the clear winner. I have some experience, yet still use an Apple phone. Idk it’s up to you. What 4 features do you value most?

This is why I jumped from Android to IPhone felt I had to get a new phone every year because things slowed down.

I’d at the minimum get the 12 because it has 5G and the 11 does not.

Good thing about Apple is they require all apps to be optimized on phones they provide security support for. So everything will run smooth as butter even as it ages.
