Transactions will show pending until the charge is finalized. This is pretty standard across any banking system. It can take 1-3 days for it to clear/finalize, especially if it's a hold charge. Doesn't mean the payment didn't go through. That's why it was deducted from your bank. Normally if it's a hold charge, it will finalize when your order ships.

Go to Settings>Accessibility>Motion, and make sure that Reduce Motion and Limit Frame Rate are both OFF; some testers had them enabled during the 16.2 and 16.4 betas due to bugs.

I honestly like when apple maintains both designs. Would you like a fingerprint scanner or a face scanner? Choose your form factor. The only possible improvement would be to offer both in one package, but they’d have to adopt <10 year old concepts to do that. I’m not fussy, you’re fussy

Oh yeah! I don't discredit that. For a lot of people, face recognition works better than fingerprint recognition, and vice versa.

With people saying things like "Your face seems to be the problem here" or "people don’t know how to train it and actively work against its learning abilities", I feel like I need to add my two cents. Fingerprint recognition works far far better for me

Counterpoint: my elderly mother cannot use Touch ID. The wrinkling and loose skin on her hands means that Touch ID simply cannot last more than a few hours for her. She’ll train it, then it’ll work once or twice and never again. This persisted for several devices in a row.

With Face ID, she has no issues. Trained once, and it just works. She has to use her passcode about once a week now.

Exactly!

As I said, I have some that are those enormous bricks, about the size of 2.5 iPhones stacked on top of each other; it’s a nightmare to use. No big deal if you can sit your phone on a table or in your car’s center console while it’s charging, but it’s a gigantic pain to lug around.

The 621 is small enough that I can always keep it with me without a thought, and slap it on the back when I get around ~60-70%, and I can still actually USE the phone…

I really like mine!

I’m not sure how it works for Apple wallet but if your state has digital ID the police scan a QR code on your screen, so they don’t actually physically touch your phone. I just looked at my digital ID and it actually says…share your info scan QR code( and my camera comes up)So maybe you use your phone to scan a QR code that then somehow sends your information to a device the officer has🤷🏼‍♀️
