That's not how you're supposed to do it, and as long as you have iCloud space (or don't mind paying for enough space) you should let them all in iCloud.

If you have iCloud Photos enabled, your photos should all upload in full quality to iCloud, and then your phone is able to get rid of the full versions and just keep thumbnails in your Photos (if your phone needs the space) so that if you go to look at older photos, you'll have a momentary pause while it downloads the full version seamlessly.

There's no reason to mess around with getting them off your phone onto a computer and manually do any of that -- unless you don't have space in iCloud.

Your phone will basically keep as many photos in full quality as it can based on available free space, but they can be purged at any time because it will just download the full version again if you open it.

Per the other reply, it doesn’t have to go directly to the finger. The entire iPhone conducts the vibration from wherever Taptic Engine(s) lives. The same way you can feel the haptics when you touch the top of the screen even though the engine is at the bottom of the iPhone.

Yes.

Conductive - transfer the signal from your finger without a physical button.

Haptic - vibration feedback from the haptic/taptic engine, so that you can feel that something has happened, similar to the clicking of a physical button.

If there is a button cover on the case, it may be easy to make it conductive to transfer the signal, but how can they also transfer the haptic vibration to your finger? Maybe it's possible, but it feels like added complexity for very few positive reasons.

iOS is a pain in the ass regarding photos.

  1. You need iTunes if you want to copy photos FROM the PC to the iPhone. if you want to copy photos from the iPhone to PC, it's easier, no need for iTunes, just use File Explorer.
  2. Grouping photos is a mess because you don't have a separate "Camera" album and a "Whatsapp" album , for example, like on Android. This means all photos will appear on your camera roll. You can go to Whatsapp and de-activate the option to show Whatsapp photos in the camera roll, but they will be accessible only in the Whatsapp app, there is no separate Whatsapp photo folder. So if you want to copy all whatsapp photos from the phone to the PC, bad luck, you have to select them manually...

All in all... Android is much easier to use, has a better file manager and all the photos are saved in the corresponding folder. iOS programmers had a brainfart when they created the Photos app.

well yeah there’s is no dedicated camera album, but you can just search for whatever model of iphone you have and it will pop out a list of every photo taken with that model of phone

sharing files has never been an issue for me. if you got a macbook just use airdrop to send it directly. if you have a windows computer then you g-drive/onedrive/dropbox/etc. then you’ll probably have to save the image file to Photos cos most social media apps wont accept uploads directly from the Files app
