I bought mine and carried my sim over. It’s still unlocked. So if you are going that route it should be fine. If you don’t have a carrier prior, than idk. I also have Verizon so that could be the case.

I can turn my current sim off and add new ones if I want too.

I want to buy a new iphone. The biggest concern to me would be battery life, the second biggest would be the cost. Rn i’m on SE 2020, my port is malfunctioning and battery life isn’t that good. I could replace the battery but it’s been nearly 3 years and i could just do a new phone

Which one is the best option - 11, SE 2022 or 13 mini? I heard 11 has the best battery life but not sure how true that is. The 11 is much cheaper in the store i’m looking at (carrier), so that also has an impact on my choice

Hi!

From what I understand, this was a pretty common problem with the iPhone 7.

If you're sure it's not the software component, I recommend taking the phone to the nearest service center for diagnostics (you'll most likely have to replace the Audio Chip).

If you have time and patience, you can try doing a hard reset, but I don't think this will help.

I do exactly what you do. Take it out of my case, put it in the palm of my hand and put some soap on the phone. Wash phone thoroughly and rinse with water.

The shits water proof, and it touches my hands all day. Why would I not want to clean it every so often?

I get these constantly - I still have a traditional AUX cord in my car, which warrants the the phone volume is turned all the way way up to get anything reminiscent of sound out of the speakers. I think iphone thinks I’m blaring sound into my ears at max volume at all times

A common misconception from carriers, they seem to think their lock only applies to one of the SIM slots on the phone, but they apply to both.

You have the choice of going through AT&T or there's the less expensive option of finding a shop / using eBay. Most of those will do it for about €10.
