You can turn it off, it's just not obvious.
Accessibility > audio/visual > headphone notification
Took me so f-cking long to find this answer after searching online because it's not where you'd expect it to be

I bought mine and carried my sim over. It’s still unlocked. So if you are going that route it should be fine. If you don’t have a carrier prior, than idk. I also have Verizon so that could be the case.
I can turn my current sim off and add new ones if I want too.

In only ask as this feature stopped working on my corporate managed device with the update, works fine on a unmanaged system for me.

I want to buy a new iphone. The biggest concern to me would be battery life, the second biggest would be the cost. Rn i’m on SE 2020, my port is malfunctioning and battery life isn’t that good. I could replace the battery but it’s been nearly 3 years and i could just do a new phone
Which one is the best option - 11, SE 2022 or 13 mini? I heard 11 has the best battery life but not sure how true that is. The 11 is much cheaper in the store i’m looking at (carrier), so that also has an impact on my choice

If you remember to, let me know how it goes! I don’t see any reason this shouldn’t work for you.

I just use the glass cleaner and cloth I got with my glasses. My screen protector is a bit of a fingerprint magnet unfortunately.

Hi!
From what I understand, this was a pretty common problem with the iPhone 7.
If you're sure it's not the software component, I recommend taking the phone to the nearest service center for diagnostics (you'll most likely have to replace the Audio Chip).
If you have time and patience, you can try doing a hard reset, but I don't think this will help.

I usually steam it over rice to get rid of the debris and germs
edit: on a serious note though I clean it with 70% alcohol spray with cloth

I do exactly what you do. Take it out of my case, put it in the palm of my hand and put some soap on the phone. Wash phone thoroughly and rinse with water.
The shits water proof, and it touches my hands all day. Why would I not want to clean it every so often?

Reply to I lowkey think my phone hates YouTube, ever since I got it which is about a month ago, it takes ages to play a YouTube vid and this isn’t an internet problem because it happens everywhere I go, even when I have full bars and 5G and it still loads for ages, any tips? by RealTshStudios
I find that everything seems to load slower on 5G, despite speed tests showing it’s faster. I just turned off 5G on my phone and everything loads immediately now.

You will be fine all you gotta do to check after connecting to your ATT account is go to settings > general > about > sim restrictions and you should see “no sim restrictions”

Press on lighting adapters and forget all adapters, then plug in your adapter again and it should appear and ask if it’s headphones or other device, press on other device and it should be fixed

I get these constantly - I still have a traditional AUX cord in my car, which warrants the the phone volume is turned all the way way up to get anything reminiscent of sound out of the speakers. I think iphone thinks I’m blaring sound into my ears at max volume at all times

A common misconception from carriers, they seem to think their lock only applies to one of the SIM slots on the phone, but they apply to both.
You have the choice of going through AT&T or there's the less expensive option of finding a shop / using eBay. Most of those will do it for about €10.
