Check the game settings for a mute option, if an app isn’t muted it can take priority from a background app.

Sorry, I misread that your headphones weren’t Bluetooth.

Let's be clear. If you buy an unlocked iPhone from Apple it is unlocked and never will be locked to any carrier. Apple employees don't get a commission so no need to lock a phone to a carrier to get a commission. However, there are retail stores that do work on commission and if they can lock a phone to a carrier to get their commission, they will and possibly without telling you. It's not an Apple thing, it's who you buy your phone from. BTW this is true with all smart phones, not just the iPhone.

I brought a Verizon phone over to T-Mobile. It’s not locked to them

I always had this happen with my car. I always thought it was headphone safety but I turned off the sound check option in music settings and it’s not as quiet anymore

Hop on Freedom or Shaw before they go away. My Shaw line is literally zero dollars because the account owner has Shaw home services.

I really appreciate your concern, you really shouldn’t assume I’m using headphones. As I’ve already stated in previous comment; this happens when I plug my phone in to the aux cord via lightning adapter for the car speakers that are frustratingly quiet.

Hand sanitizer and 2 Microfiber cloths. One for the hand sanitizer. The other to dry

Depending on how funky it is, I’ll do it the Apple way with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, or I’ll use one of the eyeglass cleaning cloths I have laying around. If it really needs a cleaning, I’ll use a computer screen cleaning wipe first.
Remeber, these phones are water resistant, not waterproof.

Kicked out? Like you lose access to iCloud? What does it look like when you go into iCloud settings during these times? Does it notify you?

I typically play a game on my phone and listen to music while I do. Since I got my new phone Spotify stops whenever I open the game

For me it’s Bluetooth / Aux jacks in cars, where I have the volume all the way up to combat the signal to noise ratio, that I always trigger this warning
Edit: I just learned in this thread you can specify device type for Bluetooth

Shouldn’t. For reference, I got the new ATT iPhone this year at launch via the iPhone Upgrade Program and went on a trip to Europe within the 60 day window. I bought a European esim to use. My phone was not carrier locked. It only locks for other sellers.

You really shouldn’t want to have your headphones at ear damaging levels. Tinnitus and hearing loss are not worth it.

Reply to I lowkey think my phone hates YouTube, ever since I got it which is about a month ago, it takes ages to play a YouTube vid and this isn’t an internet problem because it happens everywhere I go, even when I have full bars and 5G and it still loads for ages, any tips? by RealTshStudios

Depending on how the foreground app is coded, you may be able to get around this.
First, it happens when a foreground app is also playing audio, or doing something invisible to the user with audio. The latter is always tricky, but my understanding is some apps play inaudible tones to fingerprint your device for ad targeting, which will pause already playing music even though the foreground app doesn’t appear to be making any noise.
Anyways. The way around it is instead of switching back to Spotify to resume your audio, instead pull down control centre while you’re still in the app you want to use. From control centre press play. This will often, but not always, work.
