I don’t use alcohol wipes because I’ve read that it can damage the oleophobic coating on your screen. Instead I use the Whoosh spray with a microfibre towel

My phone came from apple, unlocked, on AT&T network, and even used AT&T financing… yet UNLOCKED!

2 years ago the XR wasnt the newest device and it wasnt a pro model, newer devices have way better antennas, you could trade it in and pay a little extra

AT&T techs have no idea how to fix the ability to get a bill or even view it online. I only stay because I’ve got family on my plan.

I usually listen to podcasts in the shower. Afterward I’d use my semi damp towel to wipe it down. Done and done.

My Apple purchased phones have never had an issue. I always specified unlocked phones ever since the 3GS. My service is with AT&T and no issues changing sim cards when traveling abroad. Now with the 13 having a second electronic sim I need to see if that will also work.

I just put it under a warm tap with my finger over the charging port. Gives it a relatively good clean then i dry it up with a cloth thing(iphone 11 pro : it is water proof but i dont want that port filled with water notification stopping charging)

One would have to be the “locked sim” I’m afraid. As to whether the locked sim can be “non-active” I’m not sure. Will you let me know how this all pans out? I’m curious.
