You can use it all the time. My phone lives in low power. An iPhone 13 in low power is similar to an iPhone X with full performance.

For battery life, 5G eats power, so does background app refresh as well as location services.

Yeah but I personally find the headphone warnings super annoying… if I have the volume on about a third of the slider with my Galaxy Buds2 Pro, the sound thingy in the control center shows it in the yellow and sometimes red and yet, I can barely hear the music.

I throw my nasty AirPod Gen 2s in there and they’re so caked with ear wax it is basically the same deal. They made sense back when I got the phone a year and some change ago, but with these issues there is no telling if I actually am putting my ears at risk or not.

I just use those like beauty care little cotton balls and some isopropyl alcohol, works like a charm but I wouldn’t use higher than 71% as most phones come with a coating nowadays and alcohol could maybe strip it

Need to upgrade from my current 8 plus, but deciding between 12-13-14 pro or pro max. Are the pros really as weighty as I’ve heard. My main priority is battery as I’m a power user so I’m curious how much longer is the battery on a regular pro vs pro max in everyday use? I mentioned 12, 13, 14 pros bc based on Apple refurbs price and new 14 pro are very similar in price within $200 of each other here in Canada. Thx

I have found that my phone starts to feel real slow I do hard resets. If that doesn’t work then every few months I will plug my phone in my computer. I will put in dfu mode. Then I will restore and update. This will reinstall the whole OS and erase everything (back up data to the cloud). Then I will setup my phone as new and not restore from backup.

Another option would be to get a new battery as the device is anywhere between 3 and 5 years old and batteries degrade. Old batteries will slow performance down.

Service provider maps are also fairly misleading. Depending on what carrier you have service may vary. I’ve had times where one bar has been a very good rock solid connection and 5 bars be completely useless.

Lastly perhaps a newer phone. An iPhone 12 or newer. Apple replaced the intel modems with Qualcomm modems and they are much better. This ignores 5G. Sometimes it’s better other times not. I am on AT&T and 5G is less than half the speed of LTE(5GE). The only way to get access to all the bands on AT&T is to have an iPhone 14 series or S23 series.

Did she ever really work? She has been working on my phone for simple tasks, like “turn on the living run lights” that’s about all I use her for.
