I just tested it. No they don’t.

This is incorrect.

I had someone stop sharing their location with me and several other people just recently and none of us got a notification. In fact a couple people were surprised and didn’t know until we started mentioning it.

I just now tested it with my wife. There was no notification or info that I stopped sharing my location. All it had was my name and “Can see your location.” When I started sharing my location again she got a notification that I was sharing my location.

They do get a notification.

Yes, they get a notification. I’ve seen it with my own eyes, I’ve gotten the notification.

They don’t get a notification but if they were sharing their location with you under your name of Find My it will say “Can see your location.” All other contacts will list their location.

I did, I saw how to do it on YouTube and didn’t work out

Have you tried resetting -

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.
4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

I did on my instagram, It’s not fake some said, I will go to an Apple Store this night to send it out for repair

The place you bought it from is not helping? because this is not normal. Maybe post a picture of phone you have - and some reddit users can confirm it is not fake.

The weird thing is, the place you bought it from absolutely has to assist. They can’t just palm you off to the manufacturer - at least not where I’m from, that’s illegal

I can’t open get thru the start settings, It’s a new phone

All 14’s come with iOS 16 out of the box. Which retailer did you buy it from? If it has an older iOS installed it’s definitely a fake iPhone and not a good one either.

What do you mean by “not working”? Is it not powering on? You need to be more specific if you want someone’s help.
