Yeah, that was the other point for my one. Can’t remember if it was a Symmetry but must have at least been very similar to it because I know exactly what you mean.

I used to pull my iPhone X out of my pocket using the tiny strip of silicone between the charging port and the screen of the Otterbox Symmetry case. After about 3 years, the case broke at that point. I think that was a good long run. This case is not a dual plastic-silicone body like the Otterbox Symmetry, but still feels fairly protective (except for the lens area, but that is the same for almost all cases, including Apple's).

Does that command work?
I just asked my watch "How much battery does my phone have" and it replied "Sorry, I can't help you with that on Apple Watch"

I had a similar Otterbox case for my iPhone Xr. The failure point will be those joins between the silicone and plastic if you plan on taking it out at all. Still, it's a pretty good deal for $6.88.

I have used that one back in August (also from Oneplus to Iphone). It worked, not entirely sure if 100% because super old group chats were empty.
It feels a bit shady because you have to sign up for a subscription but in the end it did work.
One tip, make sure to not login to many times. I got locked out for 48 hours because I kept switching phones in the process.

If support for longer and newer components is a priority for you then don’t get the iPhone 11, get the iPhone SE 3.

I figured out the Lock Screen clock font change, at least.
You have to make a new Lock & Home Screen set. When you make the new one you’ll be able to edit the clock font by pressing the widget area. The problem was, you can’t edit a currently existing one. Just press and hold the Lock Screen to start.

I was thinking that support for longer and newer components should be a priority when someone wants to keep for 5/6 years the phone. I have an ipad 9 and an imac so buying an iphone appears like a logical thing to do.

Yes one of the latest…Galaxy A53 5g to iPhone 13.

Hard to choose. The iPhone 11 has a bigger screen and two cameras, but it’s older and it may or may not have a new battery (it could end up having worse battery life than a new SE3).
The SE3 has newer components so it will probably receive support for longer.

iPhone 11 is worth it because of having a bigger battery and two back cameras.

Might wanna update if you’re on 1.16.1. We’re currently on 16.1.1 so you’re a little behind.

Typically when I'm holding my phone I have my pinky supporting the weight of the phone with it resting on my other fingers, this allows my to not have to stretch my thumb to reach all over my screen. Unfortunately this also means that when I quickly pull out my phone to check time, notifications etc my thumb is perfectly inline with the area that the notifications now show up thus blocking them entirely.
Also the fact that there is no way to change it is fucking idiotic, something I'd like to go over and check out what "smart" and "innovative" people they have working at Apple. Surely they allow us to revert back to how it used to be, it was so much fucking better.
rootshirt t1_iwv5c1r wrote
It’s how it is now in iOS16. No way to change it. I’m not a huge fan either, but how are you holding your phone in a way that covers up the bottom of your screen lmao?
