People prefer suggestions that are specific to their topic, rather than just stating a “general fact”. It’s more helpful that way. Also, no need to assume they have an iPhone. OP already specified they have a iPhone SE

I so hope this rumor comes back to life and to fruition by next fall. I plan on updating from an 11 pro max to whatever the 2023 iPhone is. Yet, I still tote around a Note 9 simply for on the fly photo editing and such.

I realize a lot of apple fans think it a dumb idea, and that Jobs thought the same. But, cmon. If the pencil is optional and the extra screen tech doesn’t add to the overall iPhone price, what would it hurt?

…..Jobs also said big phones are dumb….so…..

Imagine running the latest Windows on an old Pentium 4 era computer

Is it possible? - Yes

Would you want to do so? - Maybe not

It would eat up so much storage, RAM, and compute processes

Also a big re-engineering of the Windows will be required to run on the ancient hardware, not to mention most newer functions will not work as the hardware parts just didn’t exist

If you somehow manage to solve that enormous software compatibility problem, it’ll work

But it will also run at a crawl and make for a less ideal user experience, and battery life will take a big hit from all the processing

It doesn’t really makes sense to do it in the first place

But that’s my point. How do you know it’s an “option”? The times I’ve connected my phone via Ethernet was because there was no Wi-Fi to speak of. Your assuming Wi-Fi is available, making it an option.
