Steve Jobs had an incredibly high IQ. He created many of apples most legendary products and he perfectly understood what made a good product versus a bad product. He was a severe micromanager and decided the most minute details of products Apple released. He even OKed apples most successful Mac awareness campaign in the mid 2000s.

You can hate all you want but the man is a legend.

My iPhone pro max 14 stutters. iMessages freezes frequently and I feel like I’m working with one hand tied behind my back when trying to be productive. Years ago I would have agreed with “it just works”. It last couple years has been the opposite for me.

Did you try:

Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button. Press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

For an emergency fix without a service center available that’s the best way to start.

>Also note that he said “nobody wants to watch video on a small iPod screen” at the iPod Photo launch event, only a year before releasing an iPod that could play video as the new selling point.

I mean, you're leaving out that they bumped the screen size between the 4th and 5th gen iPods.

Problem with Android is that the OS has to work with every manufacturer’s phone, hence the differences in optimization and performance quality.

Apple doesn’t have that problem because iOS only has to work with one phone.

Just had this happen to me today with my almost brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max. Everyone kept asking if the screen was black and I was like "nope, its a shade off of mustard yellow".

I will say the entire process of filling an Assurion claim has been a huge pain in the ass since I can't do anything with my phone.

Assurion tech support "Please enter the phone number you're calling about". Dude, the screen doesn't work!!

Verizon, "Please enter the phone number on your account". Dude, the screen is broke!

Both of them: "Please download the affidavit, fill it out and upload it with a photo of your picture ID". The fuck? MY SCREEN IS BROKE!

Both of them: "Please back up your phone before returning." Again, my screen is broke, no face id, no tapping the passcode. It's broke. smdh

> It didn’t fall or anything

So you purchased it brand-new? Or are you actually claiming it never ever fell or anything before you owned it?

If you purchased it brand-new, how long ago did you purchase it? If it's under a year it's covered by Apple's warranty. If not, contacting Apple support is still worth a try since they sometime )often) cover defects after the initial warranty period has elapsed.

I work for AT&T, and he would be amazed how many fucking stupid people I have to deal with on a daily basis so when someone makes a stupid fucking comment my brain takes it literally.
