I feel ya. Sooo much frustration. When I opened my ubuntu based laptop first, then toggled iphone’s hotspot, then my laptop wont find it.

Turned off laptop’s wifi, then check the ios hotspot(it will auto turned off), then turn on wifi, then turn on hotspot, it will be discovered and auto connected.

Same behaviour when I want to connect my android phone to it.

It has been like this since iphone x launch OS i think.

Iphone 7 launch OS didnt have this issue before.

I said launch OS cuz I forgot what iOS version they came with.

It works, it has current software updates, why wouldn’t it be?

Yep, still on my iPhone X today - if I use it a lot in the morning, I try and charge it a bit in the afternoon, but otherwise 1 charge lasts the whole day of a weekend and/or most “regular use” days.

Apple will charge you your firstborn child for that one

yeah. mostly. I gave away my XR for a 13 this April only because I wanted the flat edges. I used to play PUBG all day and performance was great and for a normal day use if gave me enough battery.

That happens with me as well. Hotspot on Android phones is so much better.

Was hoping when iOS 16 came out it would have improved.

Never had that problem.

Faster charging increases heat, which kills batteries. Then you’d be upset because your battery didn’t last 2 years.
