Gonna need more context here.

That said, a lot of links in emails have a bunch of extra stuff at the end that lets the site in question know how the link was obtained, i.e. email campaign or other. Are you sure you’re not just seeing that bit at the end, and if you scroll to the left you’ll see the actual url?

Try pasting it into your notes app and see what appears.

I'm pretty sure that Apple does what they call a rear system replacement for a shattered back on a 13. This retains the screen and the camera system from your phone and replaces Since you also have a shattered screen, it may be that they just replace the whole phone, but I'm not sure.

If they do a rear system replacement you will definitely need a backup.

Higher temperatures to charge over 80%? That's new to me. I'm not disagreeing that traditionally the advice to prevent charging to 100% was sound. But with modern software maximizing battery life, there is no longer a need. If anything any benefit is just negligible at this point.

Additionally iOS trickle charges when temps get too high and also after about 85%. Temps aren't an issue.

They actually do

They mention operating temperature as a critical component as well as how their batteries are rated for 500 cycles before hitting 80% residual capacity. You can use optimized battery charging if you wish as it slightly reduces cycle count by holding the phone at 80% before finishing the charge to 100% instead of allowing for small partial discharges at 100% which count towards your cycle count.

Stop worrying about battery health. Use your phone. Charge it how you want it. You're only going to have your phone for 2-4 years most likely, and the battery will last far beyond that.

Ever since Apple started showing battery health, it's become an unhealthy obsession that none of you ever cared about before it was an available feature.
