As a former Assurant phone repair person, depending if you have insurance through your carrier the industry standard deductible is like 99 dollars they send you a certified refurbished phone

Just wait until the iPhone 15 is released. If it goes USB-C and make a design change then it will be in even higher demand than the 14 Pros.

how did you get that score on ur lockscreen?

So every time a new phone comes out, there is always a long wait to get it for the first while.
Especially iPhones. And especially this year with that COVID thing going on and hitting Chinese factories. This is worse than usual but not new for iPhones. They are in high demand especially the Pro models.

Does that mean you’ll get a new refurbished phone? Trying to figure out if I will lose my phone for repair for a couple of days or that I will get a new one. Apple support doesn’t seem to have the answer

There’s a couple notification settings that you can toggle on/off for iMessage. One of those settings is a specific notification if someone mentions your name.
This is helpful for a like a group text that you have muted, for example. You would get notified if someone said your name in there even though the chat is silenced.

Considering what’s going on in China generally and Foxconn plants specifically. Wait times are likely to get longer.

I have a custom sleep schedule (Mo-Th from 10pm to 7am). So my alarm goes at 7am. Why are these alarms not showing in the lockscreen widget above the clock? When I set a custom alarm it does show up on the lockscreen immediately.

You’re welcome! I believe this was added in iOS 15, but could be wrong.

That’s it then. As someone else just said, it pings a particular person if you use their name in a chat.

They do have a method for fixing back glass but it will be more fragile after the repair and likely break again

It’s a way to get the attention of a specific person. Meant more for group chats.

Yes iPhones have work profiles. It’s under the “profiles” section in control centre and is called “work”. You can customise the notifications you receive and what apps are visible. Been on iPhones since early 20219

Reply to Siri makes me want to stab a baby unicorn by panth0000
Siri gets worse with each release. You are not alone. As of IOS15, I cannot request a specific song in CarPlay without first opening the music app. I assume this is due to the addition of alternative providers. however I don't see any options from a user perspective to set Apple Music as my default player. IOS16 has not corrected this issue.
CarPlay notoriously opens random podcasts in Overcast when I request certain songs "From my library."
Siri is a failure, and now I noticed last night my ecosystem is not syncing my DND config. So while I slept in "Sleep mode" on my watch and phone, my iMac dinged and blinged all night. More energy is spent on scanning my photos for unacceptable political commentary meme content Apple prevents me from sharing in messages unless I lighten or darken them adjusting the checksum.

Without insurance like device protection 360 or apple care plus you might be on your own or pay like 300 plus for repairs at a shop
