I love the posts about how awesome it is that an iPhone XR has 99% battery health and got it on launch day but has to charge it 3 times a day because of poor battery life.

They can replace the whole back part which includes the side frame. Since it’s only a cosmetic issue I’m not sure it’s worth the $500 or so to fix it.

I don’t think many iPhones ship with the block anymore. Once my 5W one gave out I bought the larger USB-C to Lightning one, but it didn’t come with the cable, but thankfully I had a spare one. Now I have one for my office and one for at home.

This is a hardware issue with the screen. Have the screen replaced. Even if the top glass you can see isn’t broken, the actual display underneath can be damaged.

As far as I know, the backside and frame is one assembly. And changing those means taking out all the guts first… basically the most expensive repair that Apple offers.

I’m just unlucky lol when I took out case to clean the port etc. my phone had to fall. Thanks for answer tho

Your very lucky. I can't go with my carrier as I upgraded to a Samsung Ultra in June. I'd have to pay this off first. However, because of a trade in and a bill promotion it equals that's I'm paying 50 cents a month so better off letting the phone run it's course and buy unlocked from Apple.

Yeah carrier. I was initially going to get it from apple but it said until late December. I tried my luck with my carrier and purp pro max was in stock to ship within the next couple days.

Yeah, that'd trigger me too. I'm sure there's a "way" to replace the case (i.e., buy a broken phone but pristine case and do a transplant), but it all depends on the cost and trouble you'd want to go through. Might be cheaper to just buy a slim clear case or vinyl wrap and at least it'd cover up the blemish for the remainder of ownership. I assume you went OG naked for a reason, so the case/wrap idea is a compromise.
