Just updated, my power button feels more clicky without a doubt and my WiFi signal seems a lot better on my Xbox. Gonna be a good update.

Remove physical SIM card from tray. VPN can be causing data issues, delete it and test to see if data improves.

I deleted the app a while back and installed the Vinegar extension for Safari with a shortcut to YouTube on my home screen. Still working great, and avoids having any Google apps installed to the phone.

It crashed every 10 minutes but the update fixed it

Might be a glitch. Try doing a hard reboot or reboot in general. I have no problems deleting any that have a focus attached to them. Are you deleting from the wallpaper in the phone settings or are you deleting from the Lock Screen after pressing and holding?

You should be able to hold down the Lock Screen, pick the wallpaper you want and swipe up and click the trash can icon and then delete. I have tried multiple times and it erases every time.

As far as attaching a focus to a wall paper….it’s the same process. Hold down the Lock Screen, pick the wallpaper you want to add focus too and tap the focus button. It should take you right into the focus menus.

X uses the same chip as the 8 so iOS 16 may be the last. But I wouldn’t be too surprised if the 8 and X still got iOS 17 but it seems unlikely. XR should get iOS 17 without a doubt.

It was working fine then apple kept trying to update and I said no for months. I woke up and it had updated on its own and ever since the battery life was about cut in half. So i just make sure I have charging options with me. But other than that and the better camera. I cant think if any reason to upgrade other than china maybe causing a price hike.

5G is nice on the newer phones and the battery, obviously, is a lot better. Besides that there isn’t really anything revolutionary about them

The 8 has aged pretty well all things considered, especially compared to the 7.
