There is no prohibition but the security there has arbitrarily stopped me from taking unconventional vehicles into the tunnel and turned me around without any rhyme or reason. It’s sometimes a roll of the dice in things like Vespas, Cushmans, canams, LSVs, etc.

Idk why your being downvoted it’s a valid question. Although I don’t know directly, from context gleaned from the comments it seems like the police in this area tend to be assholes and this specific one parks in unauthorized areas, so this feels like karma for that officer

Do you have fond memories of parking in this lot when you were a child?

Would you rather have a giant, half-used surface parking lot or some buildings with apartments and stores if the latter means some rich connected assholes get richer?

Hive has its shit together and has the better offering of sports and locations. Everyone joins up for Hive over Zog unless they’re part of a legacy team.

My vote is for cornhole. Bonus points if you can convince your team to name themselves The Cornholios.

Yeah same here, my NYC friends don’t make a big deal of taking the PATH. And they generally like the change of pace when they come out here.

I think its because most of our high rises are residential, i highly doubt the residents would want random people in and out of the buildings they live in. We would need more office buildings, which would require a focus on job creation.
Plus, you can just go to Blvd East and get the same view for free. Not that we shouldn't have observation decks, whatever brings in more money is welcomed.

And people keep trying to say that JC is the suburbs yet is more "city" than majority of the US.

We have pretty good views of Manhattan from the ground.

Can you take a Vespa through the Holland tunnel? Genuinely curious if it’s legal.

Yes. Depending on the time, long wait, large crowd and unstable people.

This requires
-
money for a car
-
money for gas
-
money for insurance
-
money for maintenance
-
money for tolls
-
money for parking here
-
money for nyc parking
The question is whether the no headaches (but still likely having to sit in traffic going in) are worth paying for all that. At a high enough income level it would be. For me, I don't mind the transit waits and that's a lot more money for savings/ vacations/ eating out

But young and single people who don't do nightlife stuff (but still like other urban things, just things that you wouldn't do after 10 PM) will love it

I heard a lot of horror stories but only once have I ever actually experienced anything like it. Don't use the bathroom in there and it's fine. And even then if you're OK with getting a glance at a partially nude man taking a sink shower, you won't be beaten up or anything.
