Bagels! I traveled to London with them with no problem. You might have to go to Hoboken to get some good ones ha

I used to go here right near Pint. I’d have a heap of clothes in one big laundry bag. I think the turnaround time was like a day or so maybe? I can’t remember now. They’d fold the clothes really nice. I’d keep using them but my current building now has a washer dryer.

If you can get them through customs, I think either would be perfect.
Barring that, I think anything Asbury related would be the most identifiably Jersey while avoiding the reality TV connotation that's plagued everything south of Manasquan. Not sure how easy it would be to get anything during the winter, though.

Never seen this before, good improvement actually as sometimes it'll be the NWK train and sometimes HBK

Maybe you could bring Lee Sims chocolate or some mozzarella or pasta or sauce from Cangiano’s?

Bring Taylor Ham and don't worry about customs because no one believes it's an actual meat product.
Or maybe a small slag of hexavalent chromium. Just a little won't hurt anyone.
Or just find something with "Jersey City" printed on it at Kanibal & Co. Or even go get an Asbury Park t-shirt/beachtowel/whatever.
It's a tough one, because Jersey doesn't have many worthwhile gifts that aren't food.

Owned and operated by a family. They’ve been there forever and are very nice. Your post reminded me I have to pick up my laundry too.

Things have flip flopped a bit. All the new apartments in South Orange have meant SO has gotten younger and more hip, while Maplewood’s NIMBYism has meant it has just gotten older and wealthier. The trajectory is not dissimilar to how Hoboken has gotten wealthier and stuffier (RIP Maxwell’s) while Jersey City has became more culturally relevant.

Sounds like you need a backyard. I may be renting my place (2 bedroom private backyard, low rent for the area) in downtown. Can I message you once I know? Should be in the next few days.

I love Senor Bubbles. They pick up and deliver same day. I now order directly through their website but Delivery.com usually has a first time promo for most laundry places.

Jc isn’t really a good place to look for a backyard. It can be done if you’ve got millions to spend on a house. Maybe look further out past Newark in the deep suburbs. Lots of nice cute little towns where you can get full houses that will be substantially cheaper than JC. Places like maplewood, union, etc.
Research by looking at the areas around nj transit rail stations.

The US is different than the UK in that allowing dogs off leash is generally not allowed except in designated (usually fenced in) areas.

How big are the dogs/how much space do they need? Depending on budget you can get a small backyard in Hoboken or JC. Private backyard costing more than one shared with the building.
Also how are they with other dogs? Since most people don't have yards there are some dog parks scattered around Jersey City, Hoboken, and NYC itself.
