Just get there early. You'll be happy you did. Their sandwiches and meals to go are awesome and at a great price, in my opinion.

Yeah I’ve seen their menu. Looks delicious but I don’t think their specialty donuts are cake donuts.

Oh I thought you meant PATH turned down 20 proposals. I know the Oculus is strict with designs and stuff.

Its been in the news and media a bunch of times over the years that Path wanted these for years but owners of oculus kept turning it down because it would " hurt the aesthetic. PA wanting to be uniform and having things match means it behind held up there held it up in a bunch of places.

So you know which track to go to in case of being in a rush.

Seriously, the only way this story can turn good is for the cyclist to discover some super early stage cancer thanks to the hit-and-run and recover swiftly.

I got mine replaced this week. Costco offers the best price. They recommend a local dealership as well that can replace the battery with discount code. Take the old battery back to costco for refund.
$140 total.

What’s the purpose of this sign if both nwk and hob lines go to exchange place?

The original WTC station had these signs. Crazy (or maybe just sad/typical) that it took so long for PA to provide this useful info at the current station.

There’s a store called Kannibal & Co downtown JC that has a TON of Jersey City branded odds and ends— postcards, mugs, magnets, shirts. Kitschy stuff that’s really cute for souvenirs!

Finally!
They turned down like 20 design proposals for this , yet this is the one that gets approved after years

We live in the Heights. Not exactly where all the action is (that's more Downtown) but if you want a quiet neighborhood with reasonable-ish rental prices, it's a good place to be. There's also a few nice parks and sidewalks for walking your dogs.

Did the same move and eventually got married with 2 dogs. Highly recommend Hamilton park. Family friendly and a little quieter with a quick walk to downtown for going out etc. Then you have local bars like ed&marys with a bunch of British expats!

Tip: On non-rush hour times, the HOB train always leaves WTC before the EWR line. So if you catch yourself running for the EWR line, but the HOB train hasn't left yet, you got a few minutes.

I think you would prefer downtown JC (Montclair and Maplewood/SO are better suburbs with walkable downtowns, but you will need a car). But downtown JC is probably what you’re really after lifestyle wise. Tons of restaurants, bars, gyms, etc all walkable. I wouldn’t bother with a car, I would just rent as needed on weekends or take the train though US trains pale in comparison to Europe.
I’m a realtor and would be happy to help you find what you like and can do virtual tours to help you get a feel for an area. I think you’ll prefer the ease and charm of downtown Jersey City.

Looks like Advance auto parts will replace for you for free. There’s one next to 99 ranch. Sure, you could do yourself but they can probably do it a lot faster.

My recommendation would be to buy one at Autozone and install it yourself with a YouTube video. It is extremely easy.

look in Bergen Lafayette JC. Plenty of parks for walking dogs and you can rent out 3 bedroom duplexes for ~2.1k a month. good access to light rail to down town and Manhattan as well as access to major roadways to go to other parts of NJ. very underrated location imo

Nah - they turned path down A BUNCH and made them submit a ton of design attempts for the signage .
But those are the same geniuses at oculus that installed low traffic importeed Italian marble floors that need constant maintenance that looks exactly the same as high traffic gazed marble at 1/ 20th the cost.
There a documentary floating around i think on youtube about how bad some of the design choices and expenses were there .
