I don’t think there’s enough private for a surge op like this what I was getting at.
Also a little off topic, but I’m curious if someone ever told Paramount that there is a company called Top Gun Towing who is trading off one of their brands. I mean someone must have been super pissed about getting towed and then taken it to that extreme, right?

His prices are reasonable and the owner, Rich, is very approachable! His scans definitely give me the 90s vibe I used to get from getting other film developed.

Don't disagree with their hobby, just how / where they're choosing to partake.

Finally, the courts failures lead to something good for people for once

That’s not really an issue. They invite private tow trucks to do the work, then either the owners pay for it when picking it up, or it’s recouped with interest when auctioned.
That’s how it works everywhere else.

Do not listen to the people promoting their outer belt neighborhoods if you want to move for your social life. Places like the Heights, Bergen Lafayette or Bayonne are pretty good quality of life if you already have a partner or can't afford to live Downtown or Hoboken in the style you require, which in this case means having parking. But if you want the easiest access to the densest NJ social life, Manhattan, or even Brooklyn, choose Downtown or Hoboken if you can.
FWIW, my wife commuted for several years to St George Staten Island from Downtown, took her about 35 minutes.

If you want to roll out of bed and into the bar, you have to live in Downtown JC. But like everyone said Bergen-Lafayette is close to Bayonne and therefore close to SI. Bergen Lafayette is five minutes via Uber to downtown JC. Warning—BL is transitioning. Certain areas have an unwanted element but that’s changing and shrinking. There is a new “Luxury” high rise on Garfield across from Berry Lane park next to the highway entrance and Liberty park. Garfield goes straight to Bayonne.

Yes! But you have to use the bridge a minimum of 3 times a month, if you use it only once or twice you are charged the regular amount.

What was the pricing & quality like?
When I work with film, I'm okay with a cheaper price and 90s drug store quality. Places seem to be going high end high priced as using film becomes more and more niche, trying to find the goldilocks on price/quality

got some film developed at autograph recently and talked to the owner a bit, and came away with a good impression. he had a lot of cool (old) equipment for sale.

The podcast The War on Cars did a couple episodes of actual investigative journalism about one of these kinds of scenes in Brooklyn. The cops showed up to break up one of the gatherings, everyone slowly drove away, and when the host asked the cops why they aren't ticketing or arresting or anything, they said it's because they're not actually doing anything dangerous or illegal. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad tbh.
