I miss the previous bakery. The new one is OK.

I second this. I frequent there most often.

BL is great, been here for 8 years. It's def gotten better and there are some spots that are better than others, but so happy with our space and neighbors.

Never had a problem in years of waiting at the Garfield station.

This, 1000%.
Also the ShopRite in Hoboken is from another dimension compared to Marin's, though that is getting better. 99 Ranch is excellent for Chinese/Korean/Japanese/some Euro fare plus some branded things are very cheap there. Morton Williams is expensive, and I only ever get bread and some fancy things at Key Foods om Jersey but never ever their fruit, veg and milk.
Get most of my branded groceries from Acme in Newport though. Staff are nice too, and if you're missing anything, Target is the other side.
You can only shop at Whole Foods if you're from the year 2375.

While I still mourn the loss of Italian Tomato, that onigiri place that took it's stall is fire

Actually it's the onigiri that I can't resist. And the takoyaki kiosk.

Couldn't that also be a downside? Those Mochi doughnuts, dangerous

Drive there around 10 pm and see what you think.

The upside of having a car is going to Mitsuwa whenever I want. 99 Ranch is a godsend.

I wouldn’t say reasonably priced. It’s on the pricy side.
Also thanks to minimal foot traffic some of its goods are on the shelves a bit too long.

Def need to check it out. I'm from Newark and gf is from Brooklyn (before gentrification) so "rough" might be good enough for the price point haha.

If you can find a place between clerk and Garfield in Bergen Lafayette it’s not bad there. Or the communipaw area isn’t terrible at all especially right around communipaw ave

The closer to LSP the better but honestly east of Berry Lane or Lafayette Park is totally safe.

Still rough by Garfield but totally fine from like Berry Lane Park to Liberty State Park.

Since you went through insurance, you may get better details through your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) through your insurance provider. They usually have pretty good breakdowns of what was billed (date, units, etc...) and what the coverage and remainder is.

Thanks for the info! I missed the release of new renders, I guess. I do wonder if the predicted downturn in housing and rental levels may now factor into their plans.

Here’s an insider tip no one talks about here that’s great if you can drive: the Acme near Newport. Rarely packed, super clean, no riff raff, and reasonably priced.
