Seriously! The most important piece of information has been left out.

Having said that, this wouldn’t be the first time a PEO incorrectly tickets a slew of cars for misunderstood (or, made up) regulations. It’s frustrating and annoying, and getting the tickets dismissed could be hit or miss. In this city, on any given day, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of cars parked illegally, or plainly and obviously violating some sort of parking regulation, but those are seldom ticketed. Cars blocking crosswalks, cars blocking bike lanes, cars too close to intersections, cars without parking permits in zoned areas, cars with expired parking permits, etc, are super common and yet those are seldom enforced.

This 100%

What I pay at Haus is half of what I was paying in city making mid 6 figures. No car, meals taken care of a work, my only expense was literally rent. Plus 1/2 the commute time to work, plus no 4% city tax. JC is literally a no brainer for folks who would prefer to say fuck off to NYC

Did not need to get out at midnight, did leave 6a. Neighbor had arrived after midnight, I didn't get outside quick enough so texted within minutes, called, no response. Could it have been negotiated...possibly but was moot. Any sort of agreement was in the manner of I need you to ask first, but not having enforced that regularly, both sides get sloppy.

I left it out for brevity but the backstory includes multiple instances of having had to knock and wait after no phone response, also attempting skillful maneuvers around their car and other cars, not always successfully. Times with no problem might far outnumber times with problem, I wouldn't know. It was a different day (multiple) that I happen to have asked someone else to move just a few hours prior but regardless, would not have thought of preemptively communicating my schedule for using my driveway - like hey in case you were thinking of parking here tonight, please don't. It's been a long build-up, regrettably.

I caution against Vanguard Medical Group. The downtown location is so convenient, but my PCP there brushed off several issues I brought up. I then went to a specialist on my own and got to the root cause and am finally getting treatment. They also have some pretty terrible policies around forced video visits.

I’ve been living Downtown for almost 12-years now, and the gay-friendly scene and community has seemed to grow more every year

If you are bar people, Pint and Six26 are very easy spots to make friends.

Pint is more the neighborhood/Cheers vibe, snd Six26 has the lounge/club/Nyc bar feel to it

I moved here with zero friends, and I’d say 95% of my friends are gay
