I've tried mornings between 7-9, evenings between 5-7, and late afternoon last weekend. All horrible experiences. This evening when I went there literally wasn't a single locker available in the locker room and there was still a steady stream of bodies coming in.

For what someone else says they renovating

Typical new year rush. It dies down towards the end of the month. Picks up in February when people are reminded they’re charged monthly then by president’s day it’s back to manageable.

I joined just before Thanksgiving and yeah it’s busier but it’s not totally unmanageable. It’s otherwise a pretty good club for the price so I’d still recommend it especially if it’s the closest gym available. These crowds will die down in a few weeks.

That’s how I use it, it helps to keep track of your usage and energy consumption. Live in jersey heights, in a very drafty 3k sq home w/ washer & dryer, spilt ac/ heat unit in each room and my bill was 290. High but not 470 for half the square footage, def look into it OP.

On top of this. The whole point is to help people avoid cash flow issues. In the summer/winter energy usage is up, but rather than front the money it’s essentially an interest free loan to pay the diff over the cheaper spring/fall months when weather lowers your costs.

What other group would have a reason to stop that idea?

It's more than just taxi unions that's stopping it. When Chris Christie was Governor, he wanted to extend it directly to the airport but was stopped by various entities. That's about the only good idea he had.

Ohh no, that would make too much sense. Over here, we like to get lobbied by the taxi unions instead of doing what actually benefits the travelers.
