That’s fine. I was just letting you know. I think a lot of landlords are requiring that because they understand how expensive life is with student loans and everything else nowadays

I found out back in summer that they're lying about how much they need workers. I put out quite a few applications and heard back from one. They're not as desperate for people as they say.
My coworker put 30 applications out and got like 3 inquiries.

At gross income yes. I make $16.25/hr. I'm not comfortable moving out on this wage when my rent is currently $300/month because I have one house mate. But I want my own space. So I'm going to be looking for another job.

900 a month at 3x wages is 32,400 a year. That’s 15.58 an hour. Pretty reasonable

Chipotle is probably no better than McDonald's. Probably terrible to work for. I'm in manufacturing and while factories can suck they classically paid better than fast food. And the work is often less stressful. I worked at mcsuckalds. It was BS.

Easier said than done. Perhaps I should’ve included the /s.

I mean I think you could walk in to Chipotle and get close to $20 an hour right now. The Rocky River location regularly has to close the inside because no one will work. Nobody is working for $9 even in unskilled positions

I'm planning on looking for another job by the middle of next month. Just don't want to lose paid holidays the next couple months. Still. Most people know the cost of living is prohibitively high. I make well over minimum wage. It's insulting that Ohio minimum wage is even $9/hr. Idk anyone my age that would work for that kind of money. Should be illegal past a certain age anyway.

It’s gross, not net. And typically the pictures make the houses look much MUCH nicer than they are in person.

Do you have one of the remodeled apartments? Any time someone moves out now they remodel the kitchen and put in all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and new flooring. Same with the bathrooms and then they hike the price a few hundred bucks lol.

They are legit and they've always been out there despite everyone complaining. I've noticed some of the bigger buildings have been lowering prices as well.
