Well done! Hard for me to imagine being able to do this myself. I’m impressed.

I think I know exactly where that is.

There aren’t many triple deckers in Brookline because classist zoning has made them illegal, but there one small street I walk down that has a whole bunch of them.

It’s weird because there’s one that has what looks like a stucco finish which looks kind of strange and out of place on an otherwise typical triple decker.

Very nice! I can barely draw stick figures, so this is amazing to me.

Nice line work, but in terms of composition the complex geometry of the house is fighting with the colorful trees for your attention. My eyes don't know which they should look at.

Thank you for the compliment! And I understand your point of view. My client asked me for full-leaved and colorful trees, like in autumn in New England. We are both happy with the result. :)

Beautiful! Love the contrast between the straight lines of the house and fencing to the softness of the trees and bushes.

thank you so much for your message! Glad you liked the result! I painted the trees and sky with dry pastel to give this softer effect :))

Nice job. The line work is good and angles are consistent.

nicely done.

i got a question.

i only lived in brookline till i was 4ish years old but i recall having to go upstairs after going through the front door. i’m guessing the bottom floor was a home our were upstairs. are there homes like that there?

thank you ! unfortunately I don't know how to answer your question. I live in Brazil (here we don't have this type of construction) and I made this drawing to order for a person from Brookline

no worries. the picture is beautifully done. it reminded me of how my grandma painted various homes and lighthouse’s in massachusetts. thanks for reminding me of her.
