It’s in Burlington. I’ve never been. Read an article recently about it and it’s on my “might be too dangerous on the wallet to visit” list.

Antique stores are a good option. Some stores that have multiple sellers within it will sometimes have more modern books for sale. Could be worth browsing.

You have to apply for fuel assistance or another benefit program where it may be automatically applied.

you get the R2 reduced rate on your electric when you are on SNAP. that's a 30% reduction.

Would be helpful if you include the income limit.

It's in Boston next to the Brighton neighborhood. It only houses the most famous Children's Hospital in the entire world along with Brigham and Women's, Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Along with a bunch of other stuff.

I think you have to apply for a fuel assistance to get that but I could be wrong.

Self-service is operational 24/7 and can answer questions about coverage. They can also just read the benefits packet.

Pressed Cafes are great! I know the two Nashua NH locations have drive throughs, Burlington doesn’t but I don’t know about the other locations

You need to get your foot checked out. Your situation is the definition of an emergency - a medical condition requiring immediate attention. You should notify your PCP with 24 hours of the visit and followup with them
Many Urgent Care centers will bill as if they were an ER, especially to out of network patients. I would also suggest going to a Urgent Care center that is affiliated with a hospital if possible - they tend to be better staff ed and equipped than as stand alone center

"Longwood Medical Area... ...easy commute". I'm not sure that's a thing outside of being walkable. 30 minutes is probably doable from Newton on most days, but if you start going further out it's going to get harder. Brookline is a great choice is you can afford it, but that goes with Newton, but brookline is closer, and the Schools are top notch.

Seld service is 24/7. They have info about what's covered in self-service. You could also read the benefits package.

Unless you're willing to go to the ER (which is lousy idea for reasons ranging from covid and flu and severely overtaxed ers and wait times all the way to the more esoteric waste of resources) i'm pretty sure you'll be asked for cash up front in the urgent care. Unless you're in absolute agony and cannot bear the pain, i'd RICE that sucker and make plans to get home.

I swear to god if there was a half way decent/healthy drive through near me I’d eat there all the time with my kids.

Hello everyone,
First, a friendly reminder that it is perfectly OK to disagree with someone, and expressing a difference of opinion (disagreeing with someone) is not an attack.
Second, it is possible to do this without being disrespectful. Please do so. - Thanks.
