if you do a records search, their mortgage was set up (in her name) as a revolving line of credit with him on the deed as a homesteader. if he had “borrowed” against that without telling her, it is possible he could have spent a fair amount of money. maybe he did and she found out about it?

Since when did public land have all the infrastructure needed to keep those public spaces clean from their waste and garbage? The park in down the street has a single port-a-potty. If a homeless camp grew in the park you think the bums won’t just relieve themselves in said park? There is also something to be said about being a public eye-sore.

I had them do attic insulation and someone from MassSave came out a couple weeks later and checked on the work. Did this happen with you? I'd imagine that it would be hard to check every cavity, but it sounds like they missed a lot.

A laser thermometer may be useful in finding stud bays with colder spots (for exterior walls with blown insulation) - especially if your home has fireblocks in the framing.
