If you have a lease … and the lessor is in a differ t state than the where the lease was originally written, you will need the original title and a limited PoA from the leasing company.

The Big Dig was worth its money in just the clean air in Boston alone... Think of it as a managed car exhaust ventilation system.
And 91 is the only mass hwy I use.

I forgot about the insurance thing. Call your insurance and they'll email you the forms. Lots of form printing.

No road test. Rmv seems to be appointment only by me, took 4weeks to get an appointment. website will tell you all ID options. Inspection has to be done with in 7 days of the paperwork. You have to transfer you're title here too, weird.

I think it’s safe to say that Boston traffic, while bad, is far away from being 4th worst in the world. The study basically covers cities in Europe and North America. I have a hard time believing Mexico City is better, but it’s been a while since I last sat in traffic there. There’s tens of cities in Asia with way worse traffic than anything I’ve seen in the west.

I believe it. I also central ma. Had a 1500sqft colonial. Oil baseboard heat. Put in 2 mini split systems one up stairs and one down stairs. The heat was very expensive to run and I ended up just burning oil instead, much cheaper!

Central Mass. Primary heat source is oil furnace. A couple years ago we installed a mitsubishi ductless heat pump and ac.
1 heat pump /1 register for the whole first floor. 1 heat pump/3 registers for each bedroom upstairs.
Electric heat is expensive! We do not run them all the time. We keep the heat (oil) around 60. We'll turn on a heat pump in one room just to take the chill off for 15 min or so as needed.
Side note. Our neighbors built an apartment above the garage for the mil. Mitsubishi heat pump / ac. It's the only source of heat. $900 monthly electric bill!

If boston had 5-6 highways going into the city there wouldn't be a city center it would just be highways and parking lots. If you dream of cities like this you can visit literally anywhere in middle america of the west coast that isn't chicago

You can thank NIMBYs for preventing the red line extension.

I wonder when all these seniors living alone in their great big family homes will finally start taking on roommates and cohabitating

Boston is internationally classified as a Alpha minus city which is amazing for a city under a million.Only New York and London are Alpha plus and many many cities over a million are Beta cities. So for a city under a million to be Alpha minus is crazy amazing!

Hear me out. Dig a massive tunnel but don’t let it get corrupt this time. Mass pike could use an extra lane all the way to Natick. But then what to do with 93
