Reply to Questions on Prescriptions by mandapanda2891
Hi! I get my all of my scripts filled at stop and shop. I use GoodRX and sometimes that makes it less expensive than the insurance copay.
If you look on GoodRX, you can type in your prescription and see the prices of all of the pharmacies near you. CVS is almost always obscenely expensive for everything.

You especially never get anywhere faster when 2/3 people will just slow down if you tailgate them. Nothing makes me want to go from driving 5 over to driving 5 under like some asshole trying to get into my back seat. Ill let them pass illegally if they want to be that stupid. Only successfully baited one person into a ticket doing that but its so rewarding

I’m with you. A lot of the time people who complain about others not knowing how to drive in the snow actually are complaining about the fact that they are driving slower.
Driving slower is how you’re supposed to drive in the snow.

Pricerite, have had a lot of luck with the produce there. I will say though- I typically shop every few days so food doesn't sit long enough to go bad. I've heard other people say that their produce goes bad quickly which is why it's discounted- I've not had that problem.

Was on rte 9 yesterday morning because I didn't want to be on highway during storm because of tailgaters who get impatient when I go speed limit to be safe.
Still had people riding my tail and flashing lights despite going the speed limit. Had one come within an inch of hitting my car because they slid at the stop light because there was snow and ice on the road.
I've lived here my whole life. I know how to drive in the snow- be cautious and don't think you're invincible. Driving like there's nothing on the ground doesn't make you a New Englander, it makes you an asshole that will cause an accident.
You know its snowing, leave early if you need to be somewhere. I am not going to go faster because you're late. Especially during snow

I don’t get tailgating you don’t get there any faster if you leave a little room in front of you.

A local farmers market? Potatoes are one thing you can often find outside of growing season.

Hail solanine!
AFAIK if you want them to keep you have to store them somewhere dark; a closet or basement or the proverbial "root cellar"

Grew up in Western Massachusetts. Really, the other side of the Connecticut River. Now in Southern California. You have nothing to complain about. Here rain has the worst driver response ever. The first drops cause a huge decrease in speed. Then when they discover they aren’t melting they go back to normal speeds just as the road oils make it maximum dangerous.

People who tailgate during/after snowstorms are assholes, and reckless. I don’t care if you have AWD or winter tires, go slower and stay at a distance of 2 cars from the person in front of you. Idk how people pass driving tests lol.

Our realtor was with the same firm as the sellers agent. Most people working in real estate know each other - its a small club here grouped by town/ neighborhood you are searching in. Everyone is also less than competent because the market here is always so strong despite recessions - you can look at real estate data locally online and instead of dipping in 2008 like most major cities boston kind of remained flat on the whole.
after a few months of searching for single families and getting outbid, we had told our agent we were done. He mentioned the building was breaking ground to me anyways, and was doing pre-construction financing to help with costs and also make the case to the developers’ bank that people would buy in (were in metro bosto so I’m sure that wasn’t hard) Buying in early meant we wouldn’t deal with a bidding war or having to write letters to owners to convince them to pick us, which made us uncomfortable as POC. The risks to us were construction delays, losing our mortgage approval bc of getting timed out or job loss etc., or the building going under for whatever reason. We would be out our 10% deposit in that case which for us was already was less than the cost of “bidding” for a single family if that makes sense
You can also stalk city zoning boards and city council meetings for updates on new zoning approvals for buildings. More work obviously but the info is all out there for the taking - hope this helps!! Sorry for the novel lol

There are many words for them, most of them not suitable for children. Only exception I can think of is "idiot", but that word is more often accompanied by a more offensive adjective that starts with "f".
People in Colorado must be a lot nicer to use something inoffensive like "flatlanders"
