I'm in central Mass and am surprised to hear people say there is a potato shortage. All of the super markets I frequent have plenty of all kinds of potatoes and the prices have been lower than I've seen them in a while.
They are just about the only thing in the grocery store that is down in price.

Lived in MA my whole life and I will drive at a speed where I feel comfortable enough if the roads aren't totally cleared yet. All the people who want to tailgate me can go around or fucking wait because I don't care. I give people from out of state a break during storms because I'm sure it's new and intimidating for some of them. No need to be a complete asshole when it comes to driving in a snow storm.

If you plan on garlic for this summer, you are too late. It needs to be planted in the fall for harvest this coming summer. At least that's what I was told. I planted my first bunch last October.

Are you anywhere near Boston proper?
If so, you might consider going into the RMV administrative building in N. Quincy just over the Neponset bridge. You can take the "T" to the N. Quincy "T" Station and walk over to the administrative building as well. You can order the registration and pay for the registration there and they will mail it to you.

Did you payoff a loan or buyout a lease?

So not everyone wants to live here.
Stagnant population yet housing still goes up. There are other factors

It's tragic the kids lost their mom, but I'm so glad they can get away from this monster.

Check masshealth as well. Just call the number for that and the connector. It’s easier with a person to help you.

We moved from Durango! Also doubled salary, but doubled rent cost as well. I spent 10 years in Florida and lived in 4 different cities, never paid more than $825 for a 2/2 unit, looking at rent prices in Florida now is mind blowing. Everywhere seems like a wash for renting, and the last couple years of home rush, has really disrupted things.

You’ll likely receive good info here, and search this sub for Health Connector but also going to Mass.gov and searching “health insurance” can help point you to key info.

Got rear ended while parked at a red light. Was headed to the doctor during snowfall.
Person gets out and the first thing they say is “I was going the speed limit”. Idiot
It was maybe my 3rd time driving in snow and even I knew better

I think many New Englanders know simply just avoid driving in it, when possible. And one benefit of our grid lock traffic, is it's harder to die if everyone's goin ' slow!

Correct. It's not growing because we have somewhat fixed housing.

The housing market has been bananas much longer than that.

What is wrong with you?
Nothing happened in 2019 other than a pandemic where you got fleeced by people with money
So stupid to read this crap over and over. Houses doubled because they could. Because you’re fleeced. Not because all of the sudden some massive change in space or inventory because of “nimby” occurring 🙄 so stupid lmao

Look at the 5 year valuation on any house in eastern MA on Redfin and you'll see a very similar trend

I feel so badly for these children. Unimaginable trauma for them. How do children survive this kind of thing?
