You really want to move to Taxachusetts?

There are some decent parts of Leominster and Fitchburg, but you won't find an apartment there. Everywhere else in those cities is pretty bad. Tough neighborhoods with the run off from the other big cities moving in.

In saying that, those neighborhoods are not like the pictures you see of Boston, Detroit, Chicago, LA that are filled with tent cities of the homeless, trash everywhere and burning vehicles. They are just changing from the nice, hardworking neighborhoods of the past. The rents are still high in those areas.

Rents are high everywhere in Mass , causing homelessness and squeezing out of the middle class.

I would seriously educate yourself on the areas at least 40 minutes out around those areas. Take your time and learn about the areas and go from there. $1200.00 a month for rent is going to be difficult to find.

As a Foxboro resident, please come here! My partner and I desperately want a local coffee shop to get a good drink and a baked good and hang out for a little while. She also works remote and is always looking for somewhere to work out of the house for a change in scenery and Dunkin or honeydew don't have that vibe.

Me and a friend of mine saw something similar to that over Tampa except it was a blood orange color but it was the same size and shape. It's been 6 months since we saw it and we still have no idea what it could have been.

Plastic wrapping the windows, blocking up the fireplace, and weatherstripping the doors should help and it will be cheap. Putting in a new system is gonna be expensive and won’t do much good if you are losing a ton of heat out of the house. Mass save should be able to help with the cost of adding more insulation

$1000 for a 3600sqft house is about right. My last bill was around $350 for a 1400 sqft with all heat pump and your house is almost 2.5x bigger than mine. You're spending a lot of money to heat a lot of empty rooms unless your household is huge. Upgrading to a new system will add more bills, especially if you're not qualified for mass save which I don't know how that's possible... I thought the rebate was for everyone.

The only way to lower those bills is going to be through labor. Install a fireplace insert and freestanding wood stove and start chopping woods. There are tons of people who would love to give you free wood if you can remove their logs and split it yourself.
