That's A LOT!!!!

I got a ducted system for $15k. That included all new ducting because my house didn't have existing ones. This is why you always call at least 3 companies for a quote. My first quote was for $25k, second was around $19k and the one we eventually went with for $15k.

$48k for that size house is waaaay too much.

I honestly thought that was okay to do till the citation since drivers here do it all the time and usually I’ll make space for them because I believed they were just confused. like I had questioned if a sneaky left turn is legal in MA because that happens way more often than in other states I’ve lived

Reply to Juror duty? by [deleted]

I live in North Adams and got a jury summons for Pittsfield superior court and North Adams has a district court.I spoke to them about it and said I'm lower income which is true and if there was long trial driving to Pittsfield everyday would be a hardship.

They gave me a new jury date at North Adams court(Northern Berkshire district court)

There should be an option on the computer portal linked on the summons for a hardship change of local.

Did you move into your house recently? I used to have a mystery snow plower even though I often did my own shoveling before they came. Turned out the previous homeowner never cancelled their contact. I got a bill at the end of the season even for the days when I shoveled the whole thing myself. Hopefully that’s not the case for you and if not, that is a very lovely surprise!!!
