Honestly I wouldn't mind the tunnel so much but the Lovecraftian-looking giant squids that like to hang out near the transparent section are just so unsettling. Not the best way to start a trip that likely involves swimming.

I feel like so many people use candles for display and never light them, which is is even more baffling.

I would forget about a LTC and remember "violent felony" is defined as "any crime (felony or misdomeanor) punishable by up to a year in state prison (not county jail)" even if one received probation.
A lot depends on the maximum penalty you faced upon your conviction and you'd know that better than me.Violent felony depend not on violence but possible penalty upon conviction even if your sentence was below maximum.

With the MA FID system does more background than the standard background checks in other states at gun stores. You talked about lawyers wanting money but getting gun rights restored in Massachusetts if you are a felon without a lawyer is almost impossible. And getting a record expunged in any state requires a lawyer in any case.
- I would pay for a good lawyer and go for a record expungement.
- Forget about handgun ownership.
- You will need to disclose the expungement on the FID application but if it's expunged excluding LTC they should respect the expungement for basic FID.
- .If they still deny your FID you can fight it and appeal the denial.
- If you still loose the appeal on the FID and guns matter that much move to RI,NH,ME where you can buy a rifle/shotgun with just a quick background check and if you're expunged the felony will never show.If your record is expunged buying a gun in New Hampshire or Maine or even RI should be no issue.
- Get a lawyer,no way around that! There are lawyers in MA that specialize in gun laws.

You don’t need a gun “to protect your family” and given that you’ve been posting in prepper forums and asking how to get around drug tests in other posts, you don’t sound like someone who needs a gun at all.
Edit: just found the posts about heroin and escorts. Yeesh. Messy.

The store is remaining open. Most of the corporate employees will work from home or be assigned to another building.
Morningstar bless those sent to the factory in Whately.
Yankee Candle is royally fucked until they find competent leadership.

Is there anything going on with the huge store in Deerfield? Or is that staying the same.
I like visiting there every once in a while.

Not usually. The bike path is great (and getting better). And even if that weren’t the case, public transport that came every few minutes would cost less and remove almost every car from the roads. It’s mind-blowing how inefficient cars are.

Red Rose is in a somewhat weird place, and across the street from a police substation that clearly used to be a Wendy's, but man the food is amazing. Been going there for over 15 years, and it is worth the hour long trip from home to go.

A gun to protect your family? Study after study shows bringing a gun into the home greatly increases the odds of a family member dying of homicide or suicide.
