How nice of their mayor to want to demand they pay $250k for police details……..you’d think fellow union workers would gladly support at no cost

I don't believe you have to be a citizen to volunteer. I would suggest speaking to the staff at the Worcester Community Action Council.

It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.
Maybe check out the canonical page instead: https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/deal-reached-in-woburn-to-end-teacher-strike-schools-will-be-open-monday/2964644/

They failed me for not knowing hand signals. The instructor would not let me start driving due to not knowing them.

I really don’t get what’s your point 🤷🏼♀️

Take a simple example.
You had $1000 in Mass taxes withheld from your pay in 2022. On your Federal return, you itemized deductions and claimed your $1000 of Mass tax as a deduction.
When you did your state return, you got a $100 refund.
The $100 is, indeed, just "getting your own money back" but you claimed $1000 and your net Mass tax was only $900.
In this example, the $100 refund would be taxable on your 2023 Federal return.

If you itemized last year then it’s possible, if you deducted state taxes on last years return. If you took standard deduction you are fine.

I think for this distance from Boston I’ve found Mt Watatic to be the most rewarding: lovely views, gets your heart pumping but isn’t too tough, great trade off of effort to rewards in my book. If it’s warm enough I always enjoy picnicking at the top.

I highly recommend anywhere in the white mountain national forest but you can check out the bay circuit trail

So you believe every kid is exactly the same intellectually and emotionally? Some can benefit from extra rigor and others can benefit from extra help. No?

It's nice but not advisable if you're not used to hiking in winter conditions. Snow and ice is prevalent on the higher altitude peaks into May so it may not be safe for someone who is looking for spring weather hiking unless they're used to the elements!

Edit-just saw you wrote "intermediate" hiking. Disregard. Franconia...better views actually hike but more than 2 hrs away

Boarderland State Park in Easton is good if your looking for a pretty place to walk. Take you a few hours to do the whole thing, I wouldn't really call it "hiking" trails are well warn paths but the views are cool.

Mount Monadnock. Awesome little towns around there for food and snacks after the hike as well.
Mount Greylock is pushing your 2-hour limit…but take a detour through Amherst and Northampton for a great food/music scene.
