The view from Mount Tom State Reservation, using the access road off of route 141. The Easthampton side calls that, Holyoke Street, and the Holyoke side calls that, Easthampton Street. The access road within the park is called, Christopher Clark RD.

Social programs for kids would be great. Community centers, local sports leagues, increased access to daycare. I’d go so far as to say more in the way of increased rent support or food subsidies for families in low income brackets, and smoothing the transition between income brackets and aid granted so there are no disincentives to advance professionally.

There is certainly a correlation between absent parents/broken families and crime. As such I feel that policies that help keep parents with their children are worth prioritizing, a parent working 70+hrs a week to support their family is still an absent parent despite how noble their cause is.

I second this. F&V and GH are upscale and fantastic. There is also the Station Inn in Groton.

You can also check out...

Bull Rull in Shirley

Markoh's on Main in Ayer

Ixtapa in Leominster or Groton

Zapata in Fitchburg. THE best Mexican food, maybe in all of MA. I say that having lived in LA for 15 years.

All in Littleton @ The Point -

We've had the last month off work and done a bunch of day hikes through different parts of the surrounding Boston. Basically we drive to a train station and take the train out a ways and walk back to the car. So far we did Cambridge, downtown to brookline, Newton to Watertown, Needham to Southie, Framingham to Wellesley. We do a lot of shopping and eating along the way.

I’m currently in Randolph. Randolph to Boston with HOV(occasionally State Police patrolling entrance) would take an hour. With out SP patrolling then you’re shit out luck because single car goes in as well. Randolph to Fall River is 40 mins drive alone.

Don't make any plans. Get up everyday and let the day come to you. I would recommend decompressing over the weekend and getting your me time in (sleep, eat, drink, TV, etc.) . Also set some time aside over the weekend to get any errands done, that way they don't interfere with your time off.

Let the days come to you, don't spend all your time sleeping or staying at home. From what I see the weather next week is supposed to be very nice . Hit the North Shore . Rockport, GLoucester, Salem, Beverly..etc. Also, I highly recommend downtown Melrose and downtown Wakefield. Good food, nice locally owned shops.

Maybe take a drive to the Cape and enjoy the offseason. Maybe stay a night somewhere

Whatever you do..enjoy it and try to make the most of it.
