Common in many Asian countries to keep shoes at the door in shoe racks or some apartments have dedicated closets for shoes.

There are special closets to store the shoes but that can be an issue. My sons play soccer so they have various sets of soccer shoes that get nasty - these we store in our garage.

Don’t most people sort their clothes by color? Anything hung up in my closet is sorted and has been for years.
Sorting makes clothing items easy to find because you’ll know where the item is and it also makes matching items easier when deciding what to wear.

Actually quite commonly seen at specific times as the ocean floor meets land at the beach. Fun to watch tourists freak out seeing the live at teh shoreline as they can look a little scary. From Google:
