All birds (that have a gizzard) have stones in it. The swallow them to break up their food before it passes into the stomach. It serves the purpose of teeth in other animals.
*birds without that organ, naturally, do not have stones in it.

The screwdriver is a nice bonus but these pans are amazing. Hand wash only though.

I got a knife block for Christmas with the same thing! A screwdriver to screw in two screws to hold it together. Seemed like a huge waste to me.

As far as I can tell it's for a DCC-116. Unfortunately I don't have the front panel or chassis - just the backplane, CPU, cartridge disc controller, and a few other (potentially DG) boards I haven't identified yet. Probably won't ever happen but it'd be cool to bring the whole system together!
