Looks like decode logic. Core memory doesn’t need refresh like DRAM. It does need to be restored after reading, but it’s hard to say if this board implements that step or the CPU.

But couldn't you save even more money but not including the screwdriver and just adding a note that says "Use a screwdriver and put this together, what do you mean you're an adult who needs a frying pan but doesn't own a screwdriver?"

I remember studying for the UK citizenship exam.
For their scientific contributions, they tried to take credit for work done in international collaborations in Canada and Switzerland (when one team member had UK citizenship).
All the while, neglecting their own truly remarkable contributions to science, such as cryogenic freezing of hamsters and reanimation via microwaves.
It was truly sad, to see a people with such profound ignorance of of some of their best contributions to science, and such profound vanity and lack of self-awareness that they thought trying to claim credit for work supported by other nations was a good idea.

A much less dangerous way of finding these is to use a regular can-opener on your beer can.

IKEA: have this tiny hex key. We know you already have 5000 of them, but still...
Pan company: have this full size screwdriver for just 1 screw :)

Gtfo out of here with your "proper solutions to common problems"
Although, just having a screwdriver around is a pretty free solution.

Feel exactly this way about port. I've had in the higher range and it's not so overly beyond €300-500 that id think it worth it.
