I think pyramid shaped salt crystals are really cool.

Since this kind of salt is pretty expensive, I decided to try to make some myself, using regular table salt. I think they turned out pretty well. If anyone's interested, here's the method I used.

It's amazing how nature forms these intricate shapes from something as simple as salt. Maybe our ancestors got some inspiration from them too...

Oh well, they taste good.

The kind of plywood the grain depicts would be very high quality solid veneer core furniture grade plywood. Not the same stuff you might build a shed with, and probably 2 or 3 times the cost.

You can find a lot of high end furniture using this kind of plywood. It's commonly used with steam bending chairs here's an example
