The film ‘Loser’ with Jason Biggs and Mena Suvari is one I have been thinking about recently. I remember seeing the trailer in the early 00s and thought it looked like a typical college rom-com with some American Pie humour. But the film turned out to be quite humourless and actually dark in places. Watch the trailer, it’s all set at the college, probably less than a third of the film.
